Vienna, 18 February 2026 – Viennese AI company zone14 today launches the third edition of its initiative “Focus: Women in Football”. From 17 February to 17 March 2026, women in football are once again in the spotlight – with digital formats, interviews, blog posts together with partners and an exciting closing event.
The campaign aims to further increase the visibility of women in football, highlight the progress that has been made and encourage an open dialogue about the structural challenges that remain. Together with clubs, players, coaches, partner organisations and experts, zone14 wants to make a lasting contribution to the development and professionalisation of women’s football.
We are delighted that ‘Focus: Women in Football’ is now entering its third year. What started as an initiative has become a fixed part of our year. The continued support of the clubs and our partners shows how relevant this topic is. More visibility and equal opportunities for women in football don’t come from one-off actions, but from long-term commitment.

Once again, the highlight of the campaign is the event “Women in Football – The Talk”, which takes place on 17 March 2026 at FH Technikum Wien (Höchstädtplatz 6, 1200 Vienna).
In a high-profile panel discussion, players, coaches and representatives from the world of sport will discuss current developments in women’s football, economic and structural challenges, concrete areas of action for clubs and decision-makers, and the role of innovation and technology in creating equal opportunities. Afterwards, there will be time for conversation and networking.
