Women in Football – The Talk 2026
The third edition of the event, part of our Women in Football campaign, was once again a resounding success. Here's a look back at the highlights!

The third edition of “Frauen im Fußball – The Talk” (Women in Football – The Talk) took place in Vienna on 17 March 2026, once again bringing together a wide range of perspectives from the game. The focus was on current developments, structural challenges and the question of how women in football can keep progressing in the long term. At the same time, one thing became clear: the topics discussed still need visibility and dialogue.
The aftermovie was produced by Kasper ( @kasper.mov).
Across three panels on education & structures, awareness & integrity, and the professional game & the league, speakers including Sara Telek, Claudia Bauer, Nina Potz, Anna Ressmann, Nikola Staritz, Corinna Kuhnle, Michael Erlitz, Jasmin Eder, Lisa Alzner and Carina Wenninger discussed key questions about the conditions, development opportunities and future of women in football.
The programme was rounded off by two keynotes: Corinna Kuhnle ( 100% Sport) offered food for thought on equality and the structural conditions it requires, while Dr Wiebke-Maria Schlusemann ( Wictory.ai) shed light on nutrition in elite football from a sports science perspective.
The discussions showed how much momentum already exists – and how important it remains to make these developments visible and to keep the conversation going.
Together with the speakers, keynote speakers, partner clubs and guests, the evening created a space for exchange, fresh ideas and networking that will last beyond the event itself.
A big thank you to everyone involved and to our official event partners Raiffeisen and the University of Applied Sciences Vienna for their support.
