We are beyond happy to tell you that our start-up zone14 has launched. Our goal is to democratize football and performance data. Replay. Analyze. Win. We would like to thank our friends, mentors, partner associations, companies and critics. They keep challenging us with new ideas and supported us through these challenging times. Without them we would not be where we are today.
Our vision
→ More and more often, fans complain that football has lost touch with the grassroots. Player salaries in the millions, billions in TV money and transfer fees beyond 100 million euros. Fans are often seen only as consumers. The gap is widening.
→ Although grassroots football has far less money than professional football, clubs want TV-style analysis, professionalization and constant development more than ever.
→ But the gap is also widening within professional football itself. To stay competitive, clubs are forced to apply the latest training methods, generate more data and draw conclusions from it.
→ At zone14, we help coaches and analysts focus on their core skills – improving their teams and finding creative solutions and tactics – with little effort, using state-of-the-art technology and user-friendly tools. Luk has experience in machine learning and AI and contributes to open-source computer vision projects. At zone14 he can finally combine his passion for AI and football, building products that make people’s lives easier.
Tobias Gahleitner – Hardware & Operations
Tobi’s expertise lies in hardware and software development for distributed systems and in developing patient-centered support systems. At zone14, Tobias combines his broad technical skills with his strong interest in sports and talent development.
Simon Schmiderer – Business & Sports
With his many years of marketing experience, his broad network from events and sports, and his strong affinity for technology and football, Simon will play a key role in zone14’s success.

On top of that, we are developing smart algorithms that recognize players, runs and all events on the pitch and present them clearly for you.
