As part of this partnership, zone14’s AI-powered fixed-camera systems have been installed at Stadion Rođeni and the Club’s training grounds. The technology enables the automated recording of matches and training sessions, monitoring of on-pitch activity, and collection of valuable data to support performance analysis and player development.

Deeper insights for coaches and the youth academy
This technology will provide FK Velež’s coaching staff and analysis team with deeper and more detailed insights into the tactical and physical aspects of the game, while offering additional opportunities to monitor individual player development. The partnership is particularly significant for the Club’s youth academy, where modern video analysis and performance-tracking tools will provide additional support for the development of young footballers.
By automating the recording of matches and training sessions, the system opens up new possibilities for more detailed analysis, identifying key moments on the pitch, and improving player preparation. All of this is aimed at enhancing the Club’s day-to-day operations across all levels.
Damir Vučić, Coordinator of FK Velež Mostar’s “Muhamed Mujić” Youth Academy:
“FK Velež, with all the resources at its disposal that serve as tools for improving key performance outcomes — namely, player quality and the quality of play across all our teams — undoubtedly ranks among the leading clubs in Bosnian football.
The zone14 camera system is one such tool. Our coaches can now record and analyse training sessions without the time delay previously required to upload recorded footage. This technology has added a whole new dimension to our Club’s work.
We can tag specific situations during matches, both at half-time, when selected moments can be reviewed and analysed during the break, and at the end of the match. When combined with the option of live match streaming on YouTube, I can honestly say that this revolutionary tool offers enormous potential for both training and marketing. It motivates everyone involved and encourages all stakeholders to work towards improving the quality of player development.”
zone14’s first partner club in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The partnership with zone14 also represents an important milestone for the Austrian company, as FK Velež Mostar becomes its first partner club in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through this partnership, the Rođeni reaffirm their commitment to continuously improving working conditions, embracing modern developments in football, and creating the best possible environment for the development of future generations of players.
Valentin Nikolić, South East Europe Sales Manager at zone14:
“This partnership marks a major milestone for us. FK Velež Mostar is one of the biggest clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a rich history, a strong identity, and passionate supporters. We are incredibly proud to welcome such a respected name as our first partner in the country. This collaboration reflects our ambitions for the region and represents an important step towards bringing innovative football technology to more clubs across the Balkans.”
Simon Schmiderer, Co-Founder and CEO of zone14:
“Partnerships like this are exactly why we founded zone14. You have a historic club that has been playing football for more than 100 years, now using state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology to develop the next generation of players. It is the perfect blend of tradition and innovation, and we are extremely proud to bring our technology into the Club’s day-to-day operations.”
